I found a fatal flaw in the logic of love.

Okay so... still no visitors. Or at least visitors I know about. [hint, hint, leave comment]
So, I'm not really sure if i'm allowed be doing this give-link-to-song-download thing, so if any artist or whatever comes across this, and doesn't like me doing it, let me know and i'll take it down. So it snowed here in the Philadelphia area today. [making conversation] It was actually more like hail. Lots of little hail stones. That look like snow. I can tell it's snowing because they're tapping against my window. The funny thing is, like three days ago it was close to 75 degrees. And now its snow/hailing. Damn global warming. Oh yeah and I watched the weirdest movie the other night. The Virgin Suicides. I've heard it mentioned quite a few times but never saw it until now. It was quite depressing. Really, it was a creepy movie. But I guess I kinda liked it. If the weather isn't rediculously horrible tomorrow, I wanna get my hair dyed. I would do it myself but I already have dark dye in, and I wanna dye it lighter, to my natural blonde color, so I would probably fuck mess it up if I did it myself. You know what? I'm talking about nothing and probably boring the hell out of anyone who's reading this, so I think I better be quiet now and get on to the music.
Okay so... Here it is.

Songs of the Day:
  • Eisley - Marvelous Things
  • The Shins - Sea Legs
  • Of Montreal - Forecast Facist Future

Download of the Day:

Yeah, the thermals are pretty rad. I think they're coming to Philly. Maybe they already came. I dunno. Thats one of those songs that you can put on repeat without wanting to change the song. It's a good one to mixtape.

So..yeah there wasn't really much in the blog today but part of that is because it's 4:15 AM and the other part is i'm too lazy to find a summarized artist bio and put in a picture or write an album review. So i'll make up for it in the next entry. Two downloads maybe? You tell me...

Also, If anyone wants me to feature their band, or any other favorite band of yours, contact me and i'll be more than happy to. thanksss :]

xo sara.
ps if anyone that is reading this has the easy/lucky/free her space holiday remix can you send it to me? I'll send you any other conor oberst related songs in exchange. thanks.

just for the hell of it,i'm gonna throw in a picture to make the entry look prettier. :D

made it in photoshop. i'm pretty sure thats the name of his organization or something. I have too much time on my hands.

artist of the day week:

architechture in helsinki
The Australian indie pop octet Architecture in Helsinki hails from Fitzroy, Melbourne, and counts multi-instrumentalists Cameron Bird, James Cecil, Gus Franklin, Isobel Knowles, Jamie Mildren, Sam Perry, Tara Shackell, and Kellie Sutherland among its ranks. The band's musical arsenal is even bigger than its roster, featuring instruments as diverse as analog synths and samplers, glockenspiel, tuba, clarinet, and recorder along with the more predictable drums, bass, and guitar. Architecture in Helsinki began playing in 2000, crafting a mix of indie, electronic, and pop that they recorded and occasionally performed live. The collective began recording its debut album, Fingers Crossed, in 2002 in a variety of places ranging from beach houses to proper studios; Bar None released the album in spring 2004. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide

album of the week:

Bright Eyes - Four Winds EP
so all of us bright eyes fans have been waiting
for this EP to come out for FOREVER. and
here it is. finally. I like it, but in a way I was
kind of dissapointed. very clean-cut. I mean,
sure it sounds better, but I think it has a bit
less emotion than his other albums. In conor's
other albums/songs (like half of his stuff is
unreleased), he gets that screaming yelling
emotional feel. but he doesn't in this one. I
guess we all kind of expected this though,
I mean he did just turn 27. he grew up, I
guess. it's still a really rad EP anyway.
it beats all that other mainstream shit. stuff. :]__________________________________________________________________
